Welcome to Talking Matters!
If you’ve been a part of The Conversation Project, you already know the importance we place on words, on shared thoughts and feelings, and on talking. It, well, matters.
So we are delighted to open up this new space for e-conversation. This will be a place where we can all stay engaged with each other and the work we are doing to improve care at the end of life and to change the cultural norm from not talking about our wishes to talking about them.
We also hope to be a platform for your ideas and experiences.
This blog will be a warm, welcoming and fast-changing platform. So let us know what you want to hear about and what you want to say.
Keep checking in. We’ll be talking with you!

I am thrilled to find you Ellen Goodman
I read your column in the Boston Globe & have missed you.
We are in our 80’s and have talked to our children & grandchildren about our wishes.
I love your conversation project & as an almost retired psychotherapist I have wondered what to do next. My husband is also a retired surgical oncologist & set up the hospice in our city in the 80’s.
Free info like this is an apple from the tree of knodgewle. Sinful?
