PBS Video: New Medicare guidelines may encourage end-of-life discussions

Posted on 08/13/2015

In March, PBS aired a story on the emerging national conversation about end-of-life wishes and the work done by The Conversation Project. In this updated video released by PBS, Special Correspondent Lynn Sherr reports on the major development that has occurred since then: Medicare’s plans to reimburse physicians for having end-of-life conversations with patients. Sherr highlights the mission of The Conversation Project and how it will provide a new approach to end-of-life conversations as they become part of the public policy sphere.
