Forbes.com: The Conversation Project just launched this week. Co-Founded by Pulitzer Prize winning author Ellen Goodman, the Project is designed to foster and promote end-of-life conversations – and “to have every person’s end-of-life wishes expressed and respected.” There’s a Starter Kit and more broadly, the Project includes a way to engage as a community with shared stories that emphasize the importance of these decisions. One statistic on the landing page summarizes the dilemma well: ”60% of people say that making sure their family isn’t burdened by tough decisions is “extremely important” – and yet 56% have not communicated their end-of-life wishes.”
