Buying a Harley Davidson, conveying my last wishes

I had the conversation with my family members.

I also told them, although it might be hard for them, I really would like a party to celebrate my life; drinks, Karaoke and lots of fun... because that is who I am in life.
I am a 41 year old female. I bought a Harley Davidson in 07 and right after that, I thought of my own mortality. I knew I had to convey my last wishes to my son, my mom, my grandmother and my partner. I wanted to make sure they knew what I wanted just in case I died in an accident.

I made sure they knew that if I was brain dead I wanted them to donate anything that doctors could salvage. I wanted them to know I wanted to be cremated and since we are Catholic, if they need a Rosary, then do it and just have a picture of me so everyone could remember me laughing. I also told them, although it might be hard for them, I really would like a party to celebrate my life; drinks, Karaoke and lots of fun… because that is who I am in life.

I did not want to put them in a situation that I created just because I enjoy riding a motorcycle. I wanted to make sure they knew what I wanted because it’s not fair for them to not know what I wanted. I did this three years ago; I am glad I found this website.

My grandmother recently got very ill and we were all so afraid of losing her. Now my Uncle cannot face her mortality, I am hoping this will help him and us as a family to face the inevitable with dignity and respect.
