Listen to your intuition

I wish I had the conversation with my parent.

If your intuition tells you to call someone, do it. It may be the last time you will speak with them.
My father passed away in 1986 on a Friday evening in Seattle Washington. I lived with my family in San Diego. Throughout that Friday I kept “hearing” a little voice saying, “call your dad” and I ignored it. I kept thinking that he would be there the next day. I was busy. My husband was away on a weekend fishing trip and I had my hands full.

The last memory I have of my dad was a visit the previous summer. He hugged me close and told me how much he loved me. To this day I wish I had listened to that little “voice.” Intuition is not of our imagination, it comes from a place that is a mystery but deserves our respect and to be honored. If your intuition tells you to call someone, do it. It may be the last time you will speak with them. He has since visited me in many dreams and I am grateful. I just wish I could have heard him say one more time, “I love you.”
