Ellen Goodman gives a Ted Talk.

TED Talk featuring Ellen Goodman

Posted on 09/20/2016

While death may be anything but a “revolutionary idea,” the concept of being able to control how hard one’s death will be definitely has people talking. Which is exactly the point of The Conversation Project.

Two years ago, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and founder of The Conversation Project, Ellen Goodman took the stage alongside 23 speakers of TEDxBoston for topics based on Revolutionary Ideas Revisited. In her lecture, “A good death — or a hard one? Let’s talk,” Goodman shared with a packed crowd how individuals and families can prepare for their own deaths and change the way our culture (poorly) handles death.

Check out her TED Talk below and consider sharing it on your social media feeds to spark change within your network of friends. It’s sure to get people talking.
