12 Clever Ways To Talk About Death Over The Holidays

Posted on 11/24/2015

A few years ago, Pallimed posted a blog with some clever ways to bring up advance care planning and end-of-life issues during the holidays. We loved them so much we decided to tweak our favorites and share them again. Remember as you celebrate the holidays, there is no better time to have the conversation. As your loved ones gather from far and wide don’t miss the opportunity to have a real conversation about your wishes for end-of-life care.

You can check out the original blog post from Pallimed here.  Join us on Facebook and share with us how you plan to have the conversation this holiday season.

  1. I’m not shy about asking my father questions about his end-of-life wishes – especially after the experience of my mother’s sudden death when I lost the opportunity to ask her about her wishes.
Having these conversations and writing them down is the greatest gift a person can give and receive when it will matter most. Thanksgiving is a great time to talk about what’s important to you and find out what’s important to those you care about…while you can.

  2. Love this campaign. Brilliant, fun, and practical advice. Keep up the good work.

  3. Fantastic job with the photo memes! Glad to see someone taking the idea and running with it!
